A high-precision countdown + reaction engine for airline crew hitting check-in the exact millisecond it opens.
Non-rev clearance is decided by the order the airline's server sees "Check In" taps arrive. Every crew member trying for the same flight is racing. Winning by 200ms is winning.
The single biggest variable in your tap arrival time is your personal reaction latency — how long your finger takes to move after you see or hear a cue. That number varies from ~180ms (elite fighter pilots) to ~350ms (typical adult), and drifts with sleep, coffee, and fatigue.
Standby Sniper measures your reaction time in a 10-trial baseline test and then fires the "GO" cue that many milliseconds early — so your tap arrives at the airline server just after T-0, not before, not late.
You cannot skip this step. Without a calibrated baseline the app cannot compute your fire time, and using an incorrect estimate would hurt clearance rather than help.
1 · Prep
Log into your crew portal yourself and copy the PNR. Open Standby Sniper, tap "Arm New Check-in", paste PNR + last name + flight + departure time.
2 · Recalibrate if you feel off
Sleep, caffeine, and fatigue affect reaction time. Tap "Feeling off? Recalibrate" before critical check-ins.
3 · T-3min — open the armed trip
Tap the trip card. Full-screen countdown starts. Screen wake-lock activates. Turn ringer volume up.
4 · T-90s — PRIME fires
Amber banner + haptic + tone. Tap the "Open aa.com" button. Safari loads the reservation page pre-filled with your PNR and last name. Locate the Check In button. Rest your thumb on it. Do not tap.
5 · T-0 — GO fires
Two-tone chime + strong haptic. This plays regardless of which app is in the foreground — you'll feel and hear it while looking at the carrier's page. Tap the Check In button under your thumb. Your tap arrives at the airline server ~50ms after T-0 — the fastest legal window.
6 · Log the outcome
Return to Standby Sniper, pick outcome (cleared / not) and seat. Timing history builds up so you can tune.
iOS Split Over tip: After PRIME, drag Standby Sniper into Slide Over so both apps are visible. You'll see the countdown while looking at Check In.
What this app does not do: log in to any crew portal, store credentials, submit forms on your behalf, or touch any employer internal system. You remain the human clicking every button.
Simulates the full PRIME + GO sequence against a synthetic target. Use this to rehearse the two-stage tap rhythm without a real flight on the line.
No network probes, no real carrier URL. In practice mode, tapping "Open" opens a mock target page only.
A 5-trial quick check. Your baseline stays saved — today's fire calc will be biased toward this fresh sample by 70%. Use before a critical check-in if you slept poorly, over-caffeinated, or feel slow.
These details auto-fill every arm form. Encrypted at rest in your private account record; only you can read or edit them.
Rotate your password anytime. You'll stay signed in on this device after changing it.
Backup mode. No network, no diagnostics — just a plain countdown to a time you set. Use if the primary system is degraded.
